Give back through Waqf
Every RoamHalal purchase gives you the option to add a Waqf donation, a small way to give back while you stay connected.
Never pre-selected, always itemized
Donation tiers start at 0% by default. If you choose to give, the amount is shown as its own line in your order summary before you pay. Nothing is added automatically.
What is Waqf?
Waqf is a form of ongoing, voluntary charitable giving in Islamic tradition: an endowment whose benefit continues over time. RoamHalal makes it easy to take part in that tradition as part of an everyday purchase.
Is it optional?
Always. At checkout you can choose 5%, 10%, or 20% of your purchase to direct to Waqf, or choose none. No tier is ever pre-selected for you.
How is my donation itemized?
Your order summary shows the donation amount as its own line item, separate from the plan price, before you pay.
Where does the donation go?
Contributions are pooled and directed to Waqf initiatives serving travellers and communities RoamHalal works with. Details on current initiatives will be published as the program grows.
